downloads ?

Do I have a problem here?...with Avast 4.8Home.
Clicked on update (auto updates off). Has been running over 3 hours! (dial-up)...so far >41MB and still downloading. I seem to be re-installing.
Is this 'normal'?

Are you updating the program from 4.8 to 5 ?
Or you're only updating the virus definitions?

Clicked on the IAVS update button. Don't know where it took me. Cancelled 'update' after 51+MB and 3+hours. Avast still works.
