Using AOL is a dangerous decision, in my opinion. It was recently reported that well over half of AOL's users had personal information stolen from their accounts.     :(  

AOL has always been invasive ... it's just that AOL9 is even more invasive! I left AOL over 5 years ago just because of it's invasive practices.    >:(

I've been using AOL for about 5 years now & I'm aware of its reputation, and there are certainly some aspects about it which I don't like, but I very rarely have any connection problems.

On the other hand, I'm beginning to feel that it's time to move on - having problems installing AOL9 may just be the last straw!

Not only invasiveness but, they are the most expensive ISP in this country.
