warning in Log viewer
« on: June 08, 2010, 11:54:15 PM »
Hello everybody,
as a newbie I would like to get some more information about warnings in the log viewer.
Clicking on the website ‘’WWW.nummerchecker.com”
A warning appears in the Log viewer Warning box:
<System – progr.:1784 – definition:
Sign of ‘’JS:Redirector-CK [Trj]’’ has been found in http://indesignstudioinfo.com/ls.php’’ file>
This warning did'nt reach the Chest box.
What does this mean, just leave it as it is  or should I remove this?
Is it possible to continue to use above mentioned website considering the Avast-explanation:
An error has occurred or a virus has been identified, but the program can work or fix the problem.

Please 'modify' your post change the URL from http to hXXp or www to wXw, to break the link and avoid accidental exposure to suspect sites, thanks.

Since this warning is a detection on the internet, the web shield should only give one option, Abort Connection, dropping that items download, so it shouldn't have been saved to your browser cache and or run. Or if by the network shield completely blocking access to the site as it is on its malicious sites list, see image.

avast isn't alone in not liking this site, http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/indesignstudioinfo.com and http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=indesignstudioinfo.com/ and this report mentions a wordpress hack, http://stopmalvertising.com/malvertisements/update-on-the-latest-wordpress-hack.

No it isn't possible to continue to keep using the above website if you wish to remain clean of course you could stop the web shield/network shield  (totally crazy) and let it do its dirty work.

So stay well clear.
