how can I prevent bog-sized files to be analyzed by Avast when I change/rename/remove them? Other AV programs have options to exclude files to by analyzed when their size is bigger than xxx KB/MB.
Can you give some examples of these files, e.g. what are their file types are, etc. ?
I have never experienced any issues in this regard, presumably you are only mentioning it if you are experiencing a problem, e.g. slow performance, etc. ?
Have you made any changes to the avast file system shield's default settings, Expert Settings, e.g. increasing the Sensitivity tab, Heuristics/Sensitivity/PUP sub-sections ?
I dont see any such options in Avast Free 
There isn't an exclusion by size in avast free or pro versions.
