When will a new version of Avast! 5.1 come out?  ;D

Tentative date, not set yet.

Late summer-early autumn was last rough estimate I heard.

That is no guarantee, mind you, just the goal they are shooting for.

When it is ready.

Estimated date September but that isn't a fixed date.

5.1 is going to be released around late August/September.

Okay, thanks. Can I ask you 2 questions?
1. Will the BehaviorShield be like a Regular Behavior Analysis monitor like ThreatFire etc. in version 5.1? Cause I would love to have Avast! on my PC forever!;D
2. Will the boot-time Scanner be available for 64-bit too in version 5.1?

1. there are no exact details but the behaviour shield I guess will continue much as it is but with more rules, etc. added. I honestly don't understand why so many people rave about threatfire that it must be included, I wouldn't give it hard disk space.

2. It has already been stated that the boot-time scan will be available for 64bit OSes in avast 5.1.

It's going in that direction.
