I have been using Avast on this computer for about 3 months now and when Avast needed to update to the new version I get the following:
Faulting application avast.setup, version 5.0.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.4455, fault address 0x0004f053.
I see this is a common problem and the fix is to redownload and install after running the cleaning program. But I would like to know what is causing this.
Also, I have another program messing up, VLC (In full screen the menu won't popup and I haven't changed anything and it's glitchy) I'm thinking these might be connected somehow.
