Yeah, very good comparison tests about computer performance.
I did not check all of them, but boot time is a good one of avast ;)

Also the notorious resource eater (Norton  :P) improved a lot!

Avast! scores very well in all areas especially in memory usage. MSE is a slug comparatively, I'm surprised at it's memory usage but I already knew it's scan times were much slower than Avast!. Nice to see that what I suspected is actually true, Avast! is lighter and faster.

Overall, it seems like Avira and Avast! are about equal with Avira maybe having a very slight edge. Given Avira's track record of having many more false positives, I'd still favor Avast!  ;D

For me, Norton never was a resource hog or a performance killer but it's well recognized that since the 2009 version, it is very light and has minimal impact on performance. Norton 2011 is already in beta testing as well. If I was willing to once again pay for security, it would be a tough choice between Norton Internet Security and AIS.

I'm disappointed that the last benchmark, gaming score, is incomplete and only lists a few apps. I also think that one "benchmark" is totally irrelevant, the installer file size. Does anyone really care about that?
