So I've noticed quite a few posts saying that avast won't update, but I can manually update mine without a hitch. What I can't do is get it to auto update. I have checked my system date/time. I don't want to have to manually update avast all the time, I'm a bit forgetful
EDIT: Auto update is enabled. I have also tried it with proxy enabled (retrieve settings from IE) and disabled (direct connection), as well as with permanent connection enabled and disabled. I did some looking through logs and what not, so far as I can tell it's not even trying to update. There are no errors and no indications that an update was ever started.
Double Edit: The last auto update was on 17.06.2010 at 20:09:21 and there were no errors reported. After that it just stopped trying to auto update.
