Once again: Big files in the .../temp/_avast_4_ folder

Hi again! Well, it´s happened once again, i wrote to you last week i think about some big and, (for me anyway), mysterious files located in C:/Documents and settings/Name/Local settings/Temp/_avast4_.

Back then i noticed 3 files in that folder that ranged from between 500Mb to 700Mb in size. I was told these where temporary files that where supposed to be deleted automatically by avast but wasn´t. I was also told to keep these files and the name(s) of them should they turn up again so here i am!

Now two more of these has turned up in that folder and the only info i have on these are:

Nr 1 is called: unp115688829 and is 494Mb in size and the other is  :unp96369693 and is 581Mb in size.

So, get back to me what you want me to do or tell you about these. See ya!

i guess what technical meant is that to take note of what sort of archive files (zip, rar, cab, arj etc) did you scanned to have those unp files..

Get rid of them they are temp files and not needed.
I don't know what you have on your system but, something is preventing them from being deleted automatically.
My _avast4_\temp folder is empty.

Well, it would be nice to find out where the files came from - but that would require you to be able to "identify" the files somehow (by looking at their content, or something like that). For example, you may note their exact size and then search your disk for a file with exactly the same size - using a tool that is capable of browsing archives (such as Total Commander, FAR, etc).
