AVAST! online scan ? or not ?

Hi,

Are there thoughts to make a online scan (on this website) using the superb AVAST4.0 engine ?

This would be a great tool and option to promote and demonstrate the greatness of this product. If it gets well known in the respected security forums and internet community.

something similar as Panda's en Trend's, Symantec's, etc...

I guess with your programming skills and experience, technicaly it could be done.

It's on the way. ;)

We're waiting for the linux version to be ready as all our web servers run linux!

well, it means excatly what is says ?  something "similar" like Trends House call. (wich is one of the more popular online scans around)

Sure thing that it would kick some ass !

Awesome! But PLEEEEEASE make sure we can select a folder/file/drive to scan, not scan everything.... very useful in scanning virus collections.

Too right. that way you dont have to wast time scanning files when you know where the virus is. Is this an actual plan? like it is going to happed?
