Hi Coolmario88cp,

Do just that, my young friend, keep only avast on, and uninstall MacAfee's, avast is the best free av solution around and together with non-resident MBAM and SAS has never been beaten and there are many users here to back up these words of mine.

That you have come here and asked these questions which we are eager to answer shows that you are a very wise and respectable young man. Come here often, you will learn a lot about computer security and later will learn to help others, welcome aboard these forums. You age is no stumbling block but your willingness to learn computer security facts and we all here will help you just to do that,

Stay safe and secure online is the wish and command of

traditional add/remove program of windows may leave some trace of McAfee. these traces can cause varity of problem in future so don't take chance and run McAfee uninstaller tool. :)

Yes, as that is what we would have recommended, uninstall using add remove programs, reboot and run their uninstall tool.

No, but you can get the free program CCleaner that does an excellent job and has other options besides just cleanup.
