Malfunctioning Avast Easily Missed

Do the Avast developers read these forums?  If so, I have a suggestion...

Sometimes Avast stops working or goes into an "inconsistent state" (for whatever reason) and there is nothing to show for this except a tiny red exclamation point on the Avast icon in the systray.  This is very easily missed by users.

Why not pop up a notification window?  Blink the icon?  Do something a little more dramatic?

Nice suggestion, that would be useful I agree that the current one is not enough.

I had a serious problem with 5.0 not terribly long ago and the avast! folks fixed it. I am very grateful to them.
