omg guys, my brother is going to kill me, i need your help fast,

when i click on start>search it wont give me the boxes to search or ne of the boxes, it just says search companion

(Picture of it)


and the notepad.exe is gone

plzzzzzzzz help me.

Al the symptoms of a virus infection. Click on the link in my signature and follow the steps there. Start cleaning the system  :D

http://accs-net.com/hosts/what_is_hosts.html A little explanation about the hosts file. Here they show you how you can use it to block unwanted sites. Some viruses, hijackers and other malware do the same, but then they block trusted sites.
