I had the ram upgraded to 2gbs yesterday and I'm really happy to let you know that this morning I could use the computer as soon as the startup jobs had loaded.  In other words in just a few minutes.
A wise solution :)

Govern,

I'm glad I was able to help you clean up some malware you had on your machine, and I'm very glad you upgraded your RAM.

Perhaps now you can also clean up your machine with a light software that many of us use here: CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool.  There is a Slim version available as well at http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds.  It removes unused files (cache, temporary Internet files, etc.) from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space.  It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history.  Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner.  Remember when installing to uncheck the Yahoo toolbar.

Let us know if we can help you again in the future.  :)
