got a problem . i tried to uninstall avast anti virus but the remove didnt work properly. now i cannt remove keep getting message:
a setiface error has occured: 2
try reinstall or contact support.
i have downloaded again but still no joy
i want the ati virus but cannt remove or get it to work
please help

Try downloading RejZor's avast! External Control program and use the - Perform Forced Uninstall. Reboot and try the install again.

Have you got any other AV installed, let us know more about your system.

I bet on what David said... a second antivirus present...
If not, can't you go to control panel > add/remove programs > avast antivirus > remove and then choose the 'repair' option?
