I confirm Behavior Shield stops scanning on my friend's Windows 7 Pro computer (maybe 32bit) with avast 5 Free latest.

Exact same as Tech said, Monthly statistics shows some activity until about two weeks ago (sorry I don't remember exactly), Yearly / Weekly / Daily statistics doesn't show any activity.

BS works properly on my Vista computer.

... Does this symptom have some relation with AMD CPU / ATI graphic-card + Windows 7 ? I can see this happens only with either hardware ???
My friend's has AMD Sempron CPU.

Mistake, sorry :-X

Should we start a poll? ???

I don't see what a poll would achieve that 47 posts (so far) in this topic hasn't.

You would have to be asking more than a simple question in the poll:
1. is the Behaviour Shield working for you.
2. what OS are you using (especially important for those where it isn't working)
3. if 32/64bit OS version.

Since this forums software doesn't have the ability for multiple/complex questions, a poll won't give all the answers.

It already looks like win7 32&64bit versions is the OS effected from the posts in this topic. That said, I would have though that there would be lots of win7 systems at Avast which would have been showing this issue.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Thanks David. You've understood me. I think a thread is enough... It was a rhetorical question.

No "looks like", please. We need an acknowledgment. It's enough.

Behavior Shield is working for me.

As of just a minute or 2 ago, 3 items had been scanned today.

No, Behavior Shield has always worked for me.

Sorry, about the confusion, but Craig is right. I forgot this was a W7 problem from reading too many posts, I guess.   :o

Thanks for noticing that, Craig.    :)

Hey Tech, try installing the new pre release build and see if it fixes your problems with the Behavior Shield, and BSODS (If it really is a problem with avast).

You have to click on "show traffic history". Then the activity shows or click on statistics at the top under Summary and choose the Behavior Shield..

Dch48 the problem is not that we can't find the statistic's it's more to the fact there is no behavioral statistic's to be seen, all other stat's work just not this one. Would be hard for you to view this problem as it is only happening on windows 7 as it seem's so far.

I have the same problem on my Windows 7 system.  :'(
An acknowledgement from staff that they are aware of the problem and that it's being worked on would be nice. :)
