Do you really trust this? To use only 8 Mb of RAM? ???

That's strange! Even ZA (apparently) hogs very less RAM! ???

Hi sb_XoRtsava, welcome to the forum :)

Maybe it is interesting for you to know that with AIS you don't have to install the firewall, or you can deinstall the firewall anytime if you would prefer another firewall. This won't effect the other modules of AIS. So in my opinion that makes the AV Pro not interesting anymore ;)

How often does it pop-up to ask for a decision (whether to allow net access or not?)

Hi, the avast! Firewall will automatically create rules for known good programs based on a large whitelist. If a program is not in the Application Rules, then by default (auto-decide) it will allow access to it, but closely monitor it and block any suspicious behavior. There will be absolutely no popups if you keep it on auto-decide, making it easy to use. The two other options are block (Blocks programs not on the application rules) and Ask (Popups will ask you what to do about programs not on the list of rules). You can also modify rules for individual programs and specify the ports. See this for more information.

If you don't want the firewall and/or antispam, then you can change the installation like rednose said, and it will be basically avast Pro.
