Avast telling me I'm not protected

Avast is running and when I open it shows everything enabled and running but when I hoover my mouse over the icon in my tray it says: Attention: Your system is not fully protected.

Further, I have been trying to use by RoboForm Logins for both this forum and the tech support and I couldn't get in with IE8 or Firefox. Every time I went to the login I have for tech support I got a big warning that basically the site was not safe. So I just typed Avast in the Google search bar and clicked on the link there and no problem.

Hi Nikilet,

Did you just install or upgrade any software by any chance?  Or did you just get an Avast definitions update?  I suggest a hard/cold boot.  This usually fixes the problem.

If not, then Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Avast Antivirus > Remove.
Then choose Repair function in the pop-up window (Repair).
