Should be solved in version 5.0.677

Avast Free Version the Behavior shield with the new Release (avast 5.0.677) is not showing any scanning done at all today for the shield.

:( the Behavior shield is still not working on my computer :(

I'm talking 32-bit only.

You're on 64-bit  :)

Have a little too much to drink last time you asked that question and got answered? ;)

Or is this some imposter of you previously posting on this thread?

There is no Behavior Shield definitions for 64bit, so if you enable it, you can't see any activities on 64bit OSes.

For your information, it was really one of the MS security updates released in August (namely, the fix for MS10-047) that caused this issue.

Interesting indeed, I guess that's what happens if you rely on undocumented stuff. At least it was written sufficiently defensively so that it didn't start crashing or something...  ;)

So should we be notifing microsoft about this or won't they do anything and pass the blame somewhere else?
