Can't connect to internet using links in emails

I installed Avast a few days ago and now when I click on an internet link in an email, I get an error message that says the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer, see adminstrator. My account is the admin account, I am the only person using it.  The only thing I know of that has changed on this computer was installing Avast. I had Kaspersky and uninstalled it. I have ZA firewall and Super Anti Spyware running, OS is Windows 7. I've looked everywhere for a setting that might be causing this but can't find anything.
