If you use Kazaa long enough, you will get fined but usually the fine is a computer that doesn't boot.

If you use any filesharing application it is infact illigal, you are getting paid songs for free, there for stealing, record companies loss out and many pay hackers to virus kazza, i personaly couldn't care less about the record people, there rich enough, there has only been one person fined, but why take a chance when you have one clearly better which is Winmx.

In Canada it is officially legal to upload and download music.  If you are indeed looking for music Limewire is the best, I've been using it all day and have had no problems.

Ok, let's leave the question of stealing out of this then.  The original point still stands, Kazaa is very high-risk when it comes to all kinds of malware you're likely to pick up.
Intel Atom D2700, 2 gig RAM, Win 7 x64 SP1 & IE-11, Firefox 51.0
(default). 320 gig HD, 15Mb DSL, Win firewall, Avast 12.3.2280 free, SpywareBlaster, MBAM Prem., Crypto-Prevent

I read where RIAA has actually hired hackers to purposely mess up downloads and your computer. It gets hard to separate the good guys from the bad sometimes. If it is true, RIAA has lost the moral high ground on this issue.

Use Shareaza/LimeWire instead of Kazaa. You'll get correct files at better speed and without any corruption. Also on Gnutella (Shareaza,LimeWire,BearShare) network there is much less viruses than on FastTrack network (Kazaa/IMESH/Grokster).
Or eDonkey2000 which is slower, but you'll get practically anything out there.

Sorry, I don't que is way to long, you can click to dl something and come back three days later to find that you are still in que. YUCK :P

Plus I am interested in the more obscure and anchient crap from the 20 and 30's and winmx doesn't seem to have alot of rockabilly and old blues.

Then try eMule(ED2K Network). You may find really ancient things on it.
I even found over 10 years old trance music from Roland Brant on it :)
