configure proxy to "auto" (for updates) ?
« on: September 15, 2010, 12:54:33 PM »
okay that's not for me, but for someone in the French section who can't update his enterprise laptop because it requires access to a proxy, and he's got only an automatic script (sic) allowing him to access this proxy, i.e. he doesn't have the parameters. And as you know avast settings for updates don't allow an automatically detected proxy configuration, it's either "no proxy, "IE", or manual. Is there a way to edit avast5.ini to get such a behavior? thanks.
