Hi
the system requirements say Pentium or better, but I'm going to try it on a 486 anyway, since there is not enough room on it for a virus scanner to be installed. Was woundering if anyone else had tried it on a 486?

It may run if you are lucky. But it wil be very very very slow. My suggestion: get the dos version of Avast and put it on a bootable cd and use that instead.

I think it will run but only if the machine has enough RAM.
The RAM requirement is rather strict.
