Average website has 13 serious security holes..
« on: September 24, 2010, 03:01:15 PM »
Hi malware fighters,

The avarage IT-website has 24 vulnerabilities, big firm (25.000 workers and more) websites have most issues, banksites have an average of 5 vulnerabilities per site.
Cross-site scripting is the number one vulnerability, followed by data leakage and content spoofing, while SQL-injection holds on to position 5. (see image). Website owners can improve website security but only seem to do so after they have been hacked,

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.
