Making Kazaa Lite Crash
« on: August 05, 2004, 09:41:44 PM »
Hi, everytime a file is downloaded from Kazaa Lite, I get the virus alert box stating it has found a virus in
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{C83660B1-8BFS-45FB-A9FF-019B58206084}RP23 and the virus is Win32:Spybot-A107[Wrm]

Once this virus alert comes up, it then makes Kazaa Lite error come up saying it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.

This happens after every file download has completed.

Any ideas??

I think disabling (and afterwards re-enabling) system restore is a good thing to do:

Do you mean disbaling and enabling each time I want to use Kazaa Lite?  Has anyone else had this problem?

no, just one time.. disable (then your system restore gets deleted, not bad at all) , and then re-enable.

it's possible that some virus came into your system restore, this way you can get rid of it..

Don't forget to reboot after you disable System Restore.
And after you reboot, don't forget to start it back up again.
