Would you share your info with us on the WinXP cd with SP2?

bob3160, notice how your "RTM" doesn't have a digital signature.
Some say that someone just have modified the version number from 2179 while some say that this is a earlier version of the RTM. Either way, to prevent any unwanted modifications, you will want to make sure that your "RTM" have been digital signed by Microsoft.

The RTM released was signed on Wednesday, August 04, 2004 3:06:58 AM.

Try e.g. the avast! Virus Cleaner http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclnr.exe . It also has a digital signature.

I feel ill...lol.  Should I be seriously worried about this?   ???

Everything is working really really good.  Is this a hacked v. of SP2?  Or just
an earlier release?  Is there a way to uninstall?

I really should've checked it out before I installed.  I jumped the gun on this one.  I DO hope it's just an earlier v.  If that is the case how do I get the newer?
