Internet speed slows down from 96Mbit to 23Mbit when using AVAST Free

After I installed AVAST free my internet speed decreased from 96Mbit to 23Mbit.... 
I am connected via Cable in Sweden.

Is there some setting in Avast I can change ?

Or do I have to remove it an use another Antivirus

Does the speed change if you disable Web Shield or avast! entirely (restart browser after doing this).
Or, does it change if you uninstall avast! ? At such extreme speeds, it's quite likely that either ISP cannot deliver the promised 100Mbps or the host you're downloading from cannot keep up with your capability to download at that speed. It is however also possible that there is something conflictig inside avast!, resulting in a degraded performance of the internet.

Have the same problem!
Did some tests, and Web Shield is the big throttle.
Even downloading a 1000MB bin file slows the speed down to less than half.
