[RESOLVED] start/run/open
« on: September 29, 2010, 10:25:25 PM »
It seems everytime I have a scheduled automatic update, it wipes out any entries I have in the start/run/open box.

I'm connected to broadband, but the computer is not on 24/7 and I have updates scheduled for 240 minutes.  If I reboot or restart within the 240 minutes, the entries are still there, but rebooting after an update, they are gone.
Any idea what to look for?

nothing >>> there are a maximum of two updates a day, which is already a lot, so chances are that you won't miss them. And no, it doesn't matter if you don't get them in real time ;) >>> it's not like the latest threats are already wide spread on the Internet.

Thanks, but that does not fix my problem of the start/run/open box contents missing after an update.

Can you direct me to where I might find answer to this problem?

EDIT:  I re worded the original question.

EDIT:  This seems to have corrected itself.  I did change a setting in updates.
