well thankfully gdata can stop the virus. wish in turn haves avast and BitDefender engines

Only if you break the links so that they are not active ... such as changing http to hxxp ... or as was done above.

The site itself doesn't serve malware: it's just a url shortener.  Apparently it had been abused when someone created a shorted url to a malicious site.  That site has been removed.  Isn't this a potential problem with all url shortening sites?  I don't see any reason to smear this particular one.
