New to Avast

 well i've had it about 5 months but all of a sudden its saying my virus definitions update is'nt working
anyone know why ?? ???

Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).

also if you to summit a virus to them, ask them. they're nice people here.
