Avast! 5 Marked 'useless' on WOT

Check out the forum & found out same problems repeated again & again which mostly cover program install & uninstall constantly (well, not all fellow like this step), repairing, rebooting and so on...although the user there provided some good help, most problems still remain unresolved.

It's better to seek another AV solution until the stable version of 5!

What a let down! Sorry version 5...

One person's opinion. The vast majority of users have never encountered any of those problems. I only had an installation problem on the Vista machine here but it was easily remedied. I will say however, that many people would not have known how to fix it, including the main user of that machine, and would probably have moved on to another solution for protection.

One of the reasons why WOT's ratings can't always be trusted.
Get enough people to turn in wrong or erroneous information and it effects
a sites reputation.
One of the problems when you rely strictly on peoples opinions and not facts.
