WinWGet Portable
« on: October 07, 2010, 10:42:16 PM »
Does anyone here use it?
I just installed it into my Flash Drive.
I'm trying to simply see if I can get it to download YouTubes.

I Added a New Job.  I gave the job a name.  I inserted the URL.
I then clicked on OK & Run.  Very quickly 118 KBytes and 119 KBytes were downloaded with the 2 YouTubes I tried so far.  I'm sure that can't be the entire size of the YouTubes.

And besides, Windows Media Player can play them.

So, what is wrong?  What step(s) am I missing?
How can I get WinWGet to actually download YouTubes and have them be recognized and played by Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic?

Well, I tried to see if a download of Opera Browser would take place.
That worked.  :) Oh sure, I cut the process short.  But, I got to see that at least I'm somewhat doing this correctly.

I'm probably just NOT inserting the correct type of URL for downloading a YouTube.
