I'm not such a newbie and am running Win7 but can't install IE9 at all.  >:(
All it ever does on my main system is crash crash crash.
Guess I'll stay with IE8 for now especially since IE isn't my default browser.

Awwww yuck :P IE8 is for old puppy dogs ;D.........better stick with my FF ;D and only use IE8 for windows update security patch.

Actually, my default browser is Chrome and since I have Win 7, I don't need IE for updates.  :)
