"The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server"
I'm getting this error message periodically when accessing NNTP newsgroups (port 119) with Outlook Express. If I click on the newsgroup again, it's OK, but happens again after awhile. So apparently some kind of timer, somewhere (unknown), is responsible.
This just started happening after installing a new router: Cisco Linksys E2000 Advanced Wireless-N Router, Selectable Dual-Band (2.4 or 5 GHz), Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Ports. It didn't happen before installing the router. I don't have any other problems with the router, for example email and internet access work fine.
Are there any settings in free Avast! 5 that could affect or cause this problem with NNTP access?
