This is not an Avast question persay, however, someone in here once told me about a piece of software that would monitor incoming and outgoing transmissions. It was not a firewall, more like a piece of software that went along with a hardware firewall to prevent outgoing transmissions.
What I am wanting is to hook up my hardware firewall but still monitor what I allow to to out going.
It was freeware.
