Avast wrongly find that my licens is expired

Hi

Sometimes Avast notifies me and say that my license is expired. Now I can't update the virus definitions to 101015-1.
When I reinsert my license file I get a message saying that the file isn't a valid avast license file.
Avast pro antivirus 5.0.677.
Windows XP sp. 3
License expires 02.02.2012
My system clock is set right.

I saw a post with a similar problem here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=59725.0. I have downloaded the program aswDataTest.exe, and run it. Here is the aswData.log:

This is a recurring problem. Sometimes it has helped to reinsert the license file. Sometimes clicking the different tabs in Avast has helped. This time however I'm stuck.

Problem: Invalid License Despite Being Paid

I'm sorry it has taken so long for someone to respond to your post. 

You did the correct thing by following the instructions posted in the previous thread http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=59725.0, however you need to email the log you posted to Vlk at this email: vlk@avast.com.  Also mention the previous thread and mention the thread you opened up (cut and paste) in addition to your Element 5/email purchase receipt explaining the problem.

Did you purchase directly from Avast or an Avast Reseller?

Looks like it's related to a corrupted virus definitions file.

Could you please try repairing your avast installation?
Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Avast antivirus -> Change/Reamove -> Repair

I have just followed your advice and repaired Avast. Lets hope that takes care of the problem.
