Homer Simpson 'is a true Catholic'   ;D

Quote
He is an idle, pea-brained glutton with a permanent craving for doughnuts and Duff beer, but Homer Simpson has been declared a true Catholic by the Vatican's official newspaper.

I don't think that could be further from the truth. I love the Simpsons, but have noticed how Homer often falls asleep in church. He has also referred to people going to church as "church jerks", and talked about them believing in their phony balogna God. Yes in that one episode Homer and Bart were Catholic, but their overall lifestyle and attitudes clearly shows they are hardly even Christian.

Also, this thread shows the "off-topic" board should be brought back.

I saw this in another paper yesterday or today :)

My favorite line from the Homer is (shows the physicist in me):

IIRC, when asked about where he was going (while supposed to be on a diet, and not doing it)

"Err...gotta count the atoms at the plant, conservation of mass, it's the law" ;D ;D
