Antispam not scanning emails

Hi, the avast Antispam module will not work for me. I use MS Outlook 2007 running on Win7 32-bit. The mail shield works fine and it is scanning emails. The Antispam toolbar is there, it's just not automatically scanning my emails even though it says Running in the UI. It works in Outlook 2010 on my other machine.

Some things I tried:
- Repair of avast (followed by a reboot)
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the Antispam component via the option "Change" in Control Panel
  (followed by a reboot)
- Turning off/turning back on the "avast Antispam" in Trust Center, Add-ins

Can someone help please? Thanks.

Im beginning to think it's an issue between the Antispam and the 2007 version of outlook. I had this issue before, then I switched to Windows Mail. Today I installed Outlook again and it's not working still. :(
