Strange behavior of the firewall and VMware
« on: October 23, 2010, 08:13:44 PM »
I had all connections allowed for VMWare. But it couldn't connect.
The connections are all "unknown"  ???
If I disable avast firewall, it can connect.

Also, it was always a NAT network.
Now I can only connect if it is set to Bridged.

What's wrong with avast firewall?

I also got problems with Avast's Firewall.

Bad Company 2(a game) can't connect to the default servers, even though I can browse through servers, but when I click join it can't join, I have then tried to disable Avast's firewall and after this I could play.

I also tried to allow all connection for the .exe and everything - Didnt help... ???

PS. I switched to Avast! Free - Waiting to buy Avast! IS/PRO till they upgrade the Zero-Day/Hour threat protection/sandboxing. ;)

Regards,
Armin.
