Rising antivirus
« on: November 06, 2010, 12:37:18 PM »
Hi, I'm new here. Please advice can I run New Rising Antivirus with Avast 5? Will it be conflict ? I think we should not only rely on one antivrus/spyware protection, right ? ::)

Thanks

Regards

Jamie

Never run two AV as this can create lots of mysterious windows errors and false detections

Recomended extra scanner is Malwarebytes and/or Superantispyware

Thanks.

I heard & read that Rising is very good in protection & detection. Is it better than Avast?

Now I'm ruuning Immunet 2 with Avast 5. Emisoft free as a on demand scanner. I just wonder should I use Rising because it is very light weight & yet powerful.

I agree with Pondus to not run Rising Antivirus as it will conflict with avast!

Please read:
avast! and other antivirus applications

Malwarebytes is a good application to run with avast!.

With most truth, no, it's not.
Rising will conflict with avast.

Asking that question on this forum will only result in one answer: NO
If you ask that same question on their forum, you might get a different answer.  ;D
