User Guide Mac version

I just purchased the Mac version of Antivirus program 
Is there a user guide for the Mac version. I have a couple of questions that I can not seem to find info in the help.

1. Dock Icon has a bar with a number 58 in it. Any ideas as to what this means.
2. Background scan button on application window, does nothing when clicking. What does this click do?

Hallo,
depends on the color of the number.
white = files scanned so far
yellow = warnings found so far (if any)
red = infection found so far (if any)

all is related to the latest on-demand scan. note that warnings usually are about accessibility/permissions/strange compression ratios and have NOTHING to do with infection or even infection suspiction.

Hallo,
it just lowers the scan priority. Might be handy when your video player isn't playing smoothly because some scan is performed etc.
