How good is the cleaner?

I have tried several Antivirus products.  They all have good qualities.  Most have good GUIs, most find viruses.

But, in my opinion, finding viruses is useless, unless the product also CLEANS the viruses out of memory and off the HD.

My questions are:

HOW well does Avast! clean viruses?  How easy does it do it?

You must try avast! Cleaner to see. It's a standalone application that corrects a very few number of infections. Indeed all other antivirus 'correct' very few of them.
