My advice would be to stay away from registry cleaners. They can do more harm than good. And, if you are unable to boot because of the cleaning and do not have a backup, you can be in real trouble. I don't believe in tuneup tools...I do believe in manual tweaking knowing what you're doing
CCleaner is the safest tune-up tool to use imo.
I am never ever using a tune up tool again.The last time I used it (one of them, perhaps auslogics), it deleted my office installation file of sorts, causing the word files to appear as blank icons.Really annoying.
Avoid using any kind of tune up tools because they just crap the system even more. If you have to, use CCleaner only along with Defraggler.
