After registering, uninstalling, reinstalling, if your message says cannot connect to server.. Perhaps you missed the directive at the end to disconnect from your server, then reconnect? I had to do that twice. All in all I have found Avast to be less than user friendly. Just logging in, in order to get the disconnect/reconnect info to you in this post, was ridiculous and not clear at all. Particularly - the "verifying E-mail" requiring a code with THE ONLY PLACE to insert it being "resend activation code" box.. I sure hope Avast isn't run by baboons.. Also, how does one get the pop-up, "Update Avast" from driving you nuts? I'm updated already... Well, that's my two cents.
