Scheduling scan

I have just started using avast and can't find a place to set up autoscan. Please help!

You can set a bootscan in the options.

If you mean a task (like scanning every friday) use the taskmanger in windows.

Standard on-access scanning is enabled so your files are checked as soon as you open them.

thanks for the tip i did use task manager to schedule it. I am currently a Security plus student and just found out about avast and I really like it alot much better than Norton

The pro (paid for) version has the function to schedule scans. The Home version doesn't have the schedule function.
