Indeed! just to take a snapshot and restore after running each malware, no one like to reformat hard drive a few times everyday!  ;D

Personally i have my browser set so that it cleans them out when the browser closes...
Me to but windows does a pretty crap job of deleting them, ccleaner get's rid of the stubborn one's for me.

What's windows got to do with it ?
Not sure what browser you use but im using windows internet explorer 9, thats what windows has got to do with it.

Ekhhhhm. I use Chrome but that doesn't matter in this case. Windows is an Operating System and an Internet Browser is a program that runs on an Operating System. That OS can be either Windows, Mac OS, a Linux distro  etc. So your statement of

is incorrect. Windows doesn't delete your cookies, it's your browser. Browsers run on different OSes. An OS and a Browser are 2 different programs, they are not one and the same as your statement implies.

cookies also stored at windows folder and that cookies hold your Username and password
and only a particular browser can read that cookies, if you did log-in at site just don't forget to click on "never at this site"
so that windows do not stored your username and password within the folder.

if you are using IE8,IE9 you can configure like this (see picture)
