If I totally start from scratch, I'd get rid of the windows directory and do a new install. Doing an install on top of what's already there, wouldn't get rid of anything. It would prob. make it worse.

I'm quite sure I won't do that...
I won't install all over just from the beginning, configure all...
This will be a nightmare  :P

Hey Technical,
That is no way for a sweet little blonde boy to think! :D

Sorry, I have to wash my mouth with soap  ;D

Hi Technical,
You're right, if you are referring to the little blonde boy's smile; I think your smile grew up with you --- I'll go back and take a look --- maybe it is the same --- anyway, It's a nice smile, and if mine is almost like it, that is a compliment!  :D

You should see my picture when I was two years old - it is really very much like your little blonde boy smile!

Did you realize that it's me? I mean your little blonde boy smile is myself smile and not my son...

I've been waiting to take the plunge to SP2. I thought I would wait until the auto download took place. Several days ago the "download updates" icon showed up in my system tray but has failed to download. I went to the Microsoft updates site and made sure my computer was ready to auto download. Still did not happen.

The Microsoft updates site says I must wait for the auto download. I so far have not found a way to do it manually. Does anyone know where I can download the released version? Google search keeps showing me the Beta and unreleased versions.

Gene,
The exact same thing happened to me; it was supposed to Auto Download at 3:00 AM; nothing happened.
I decided the only thing to do is wait, but I am glad you posted; maybe someone Knows something.

Why searching on google when you know it is on the MS-webiste? Using their search engine seems more logical to me. Any way, first hit I got there was the download page for SP2 ;D

HERE
you go

Be prepaired to spend some time. It is 266.1 Mb ;)
Available in 6 languages.
Chinese (traditional)
Chinese (simplified)
English
French
German
Korean

Eddy: I had already found that page. It says specifically NOT to download this for one computer. For one computer it sends you to the update page and says I must wait for the auto download. Thanks. Anymore suggestions?

So? It is a bit more extended than the install for home users. So what? Do you think the profs don't use this to install on one single comp? hahaha, trust me they do use it.
