Avast license problem.
« on: December 03, 2010, 09:58:37 AM »
Hello.
I bought a 2 year subscription to Avast Pro Antivirus. The problem is that every now and then the program tells me my license has expired and that i need to renew my subscription.
When i try to insert the license-file i get a error message telling me its not a proper license file. This is starting to piss me off.
Am i the only one with this problem?
Is there any sollution to the problem besides uninstalling it and reinstalling once every couple of months?

( I appologize if my English is bad. It is not my first language.)

What version of Avast Pro are you using?  5.0.677 is the current version.

Did you recently upgrade from 4.0 to 5.0?  If so, please read the following regarding your license.
Converting Avast 4 Pro License Key to 5 Pro License File: http://www.avast.com/resend-license.php.  Make sure you use the same email as you used to register for the 4.0 license.

If you have been using 5.0 all along, did you insert your license this way?
