Avast downloaded after purchase different file size

Hello,

I just purchased Avast and followed the download link to make sure I had the latest Pro version.  Then on another PC I went to the Avast site and just downloaded from the Product tab.  The two files are different sizes (49493KB vs 48594KB).  Both .exe files claim to be 5.0.677.0.  Is there anything to account for or be concerned about over the difference?

Hi,

Avast setup files are updated to incorporate latest antivirus definitions. So it might just be that. To be sure, just download from the following link :

http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/setup_av_pro.exe (multi-lingual)

Thanks. I downloaded that and it matched the file downloaded from the link in my purchase receipt.

I kinda thought the size might be due to inclusion of new definitions, but then I thought they'd update the installer from the main Product download page as well.
