Avast needs to start the improve seriously with the 0-day malware
+1

Agreed. Especially MBR malware that is becoming a very serious issue. Most customers that come to out repair shop has some form of severe rootkit. Within the last 2 months 75% have had MBR malware.

Does anyone know the answer to this questionz?

And the question would be..??

My bad. :)

I should have been specific on the question.

What kinds of "Malware" were included in the test?

Quote
Types of Malware

The more you educate yourself on malicious software, the better off you'll be. Malware is not a virus. In fact, it consists of viruses, worms, Trojan horses, adware, rootkits and many other nasty infections. Some of these programs are more of an annoyance than anything, while others pose a serious threat to your computer. Regardless of the type, each of them offer their own unique security threat, and they should be avoided at all costs.

For a list of the types of Malware see link.

Hopefully the question is now clear enough :)

Tests can be designed to favor one software vs others.

I use Avast because I found that it works very good and is easy to configure and use. :)

I think Avast's behavior blocker needs to work and not only look pretty. And congrats Avast :)

I can't understand how MSE scored better than comodo... strange if you ask me. I wonder if they had D+ on.
